FlatPack

DES 040 student project, Fall 2020.

In the FlatPak project, our goal was to design a stepstool that could be assembled entirely from pieces laser-cut from a single piece of plywood. My design involved a number of interlocking slots and tabs forming a two-step stool with a center support for extra stability. I also added curved contours and smaller slots as decorative elements to keep the stool from feeling too square and blocky.
